Future Camper

Jason was packing up for a camping trip and Cody was helping! He was so excited to be playing in his daddy's camping gear and loved exploring all his stuff! We have a family vacation to Estes Park in a few weeks and staying in a Condo. However, we are planning Cody's first tent camping experience for summer 2011!

Liking the Attention

Sarah, Chris and Andrew come over last night and played with Cody! Andrew and Chris left very early this morning with Jason on a trip with the senior guys so they stayed the night with us. Cody totally showed off for them and loved all the attention that they gave him! Sarah is our regular babysitter and Cody loves her. However, last night he couldn't keep his eyes off the guys!

Chris and Andrew played with Cody for a long time on the floor. They would put a toy on his head and Cody would try to put toys on their head in return. He was totally into them and showing off. All of us even watched a cartoon together before we put Cody to bed to relax him....he got wound up when they arrived.

We are blessed that our students love Cody so much! He definately loves being around them!

C is for Cute, Cuddly, Crazy Cody

This is what happens when we spend so much time with teenagers! I had a car full of teenage girls and Cody was loving the attention.....and they loved making him smile and turning his hat to look like a gansta!

Cody sleeps with many paci's! He really only uses them for naps/night time. We keep many in there so he can always find one and so when he throws them out of the crib he has backups! He almost always has one in his mouth and another in his hand while he's sleeping.

We had company for dinner and this sucker was keeping Cody content for a long time! It's a special treat that he doesn't get often so he was really enjoying it!

Cody likes to sing/listen to music in the car and this is him clapping to a song!

Wedding Fun

We attended the wedding of a former student, James Richardson. Jason has been close to this family for many many years and we had a great time at the wedding! Mark officiated the wedding and we got to sit at a table with the Young Family and our friend Brandi! Our extended "framily" at Brandi would say. Ha! The Ranch

Jason was on a trip recently and my mom, Cody and I went to visit my grandparents that their Ranch. I was telling my mom at the end of the weekend that the Ranch used to be a relaxing place to go but not anymore now that I am chasing a toddler! We did have a great visit and got to sit and relax when Cody was alseep. My mom and Cody hanging out on the back porch.

The Ranch is a very dusty place and Cody insisted on crawling around. He was covered in dirt and sweat but loved every minute of it!

I have been going to the Ranch for most of my life and it's fun to be able to take Cody and let him explore and play there. Soon we'll have to teach him to watch out for rattlesnakes while he's playing outside! Yikes!

Toddler = Fun!

We are having so much fun with Cody and love to watch him learn new things daily! He isn't walking by himself yet but he can push around anything that will help him walk. I took out the trash the other day and came in to find him pushing the trashcan around the kitchen.

Cody loves to tumble and and is in this position many times a day and laughing at himself.

Sugar-Free Banana Popsicle and watermelon...perfect summertime snack!

Playing in cabinets is hours of fun...especially stacking and un-stacking bowls and cups. He pulls them out of the cabinet one by one and re-stacks them on the tile.

Cody loves watching the yard get mowed...and the garbage truck pick up the trash.

Playing with toilet paper, baby wipes, paper towels or kleenex is always entertaining....and expensive!

Cody could sit in the swing all day! He loves it! Learning to slide with mommy and daddy! Getting Dirty! He's ALL rough and tumble boy and we love it!
