What does the Cow say?
Cody definately knows that a cow says "moo"! He has started recogizing them in books or toys but I was surprised when we drove up to my moms house and he recogized real cows in the pasture. We had to pull over and look! He saw a moose on a mug and said "moo" (close enough), he saw the longhorn statues while in a shopping center and said "moo", and he saw cows on the milk cartons while grocery shopping and said "moo".....although his "moo" sounds like "boo" it's still super cute! Here he is with my mom looking at the cows!

Charlie Brown
I wanted a simple Halloween costume for Cody since he wasn't going trick or treating but was going to the church's fall festival. I found a cute Charlie Brown shirt and he looked adorable. The church's festival was very crowded to the monkey came in handy to keep him close by. He was mostly content standing and listening to the high school band play while Jason sang. He clapped and danced. We had a fun night visiting with friends! The cutest thing was that Jason was dressed like Charlie Brown too since the Pastor's had to dress up. Sadly, I don't have a picture of the two of them together.

Cooking and Car Rides...Fun with Sarah!
Sarah is our wonderful college gal who keeps Cody on Wednesdays and Fridays while I go to work. One morning she baked a dessert to take with her on a trip and Cody got to help! He loves to help me when I cook/bake and I know he enjoyed helping Sarah this time. I'm glad she grabbed our camera and took some cute pictures of her little helper! We started using this bumbo seat when Cody was 7 weeks and he still sits in it when he's up on the counter. We can't turn our backs anymore because he can climb in and out but it works great for a seat when he wants to see what we are doing.

Our little helper
Cody has always loved the vacuum! Quite often Cody will come get me or Jason until we follow him to the closet where the vacuum is kept and then he signs please until we open then door. He also has toys in this closet but ignores the toys and goes straight to the vacuum and begs (his is polite way of signing please and saying "ease, ease, ease") until we either give in or say no, which usually ends in a sad little boy.
I bought him a little toy vacuum which he does enjoy...but not as much as the real thing!
This particular day Cody was able to talk his daddy into bringing out the vacuum and he pushed his little vacuum right beside him the whole time.
