Cody's Trip to Grandpa and Grandma's House

Jason and I were attending the annual Insight for Living cruise to Alaska for work and so Cody got to spend the week in Oregon at Grandpa and Grandma's house! Jason was meeting me a day later so it was just Cody and I traveling.  We went from Dallas to Seattle and back down to Oregon and had a great day together.  He even got to ride the train around the Seattle airport during our layover.
Cody loves airplanes and flying....and pluto goes everywhere with us these days.
He is not a big fan of the headphones but knows it's the only way to watch videos or play games on the airplane so he embraces them.
Right before this trip we got Cody this little Thomas the Train rolling bag.  It was the best $12 because he packed it full of his favorite toys for the trip and proudly pulled it through 3 different airports.  He also has his ticket in his hand.  He insisted that I give him his ticket and he would give it to the people checking us in and then hold it until we got to our seats where he would then tuck it safely in his bag.
Our last flight was this little plane and we got to walk outside and climb steps to get inside.  He loved this!
I got Cody all settled in at Jason's parents house and then flew to Seattle to meet up with everyone else for the cruise. He quickly discovered their blueberry bush and would pick handfuls at a time.
Their yard always looks so beautful. Daisy's are my favorite flower and I was happy he would stand still long enough for me to take his picture...and actually smile for me!
Walking around the yard with Grandma.  There are lots of things to explore!
Randy and Diane also have a wonderful garden and Cody enjoyed picking strawberries and all sorts of fruits and vegetables.
He got to sleep in a big bed at their house and wanted nothing to do with his toddler bed when he got home!
Cody and Uncle Bruce
He spent a lot of time with these sweet girls! Lucy and Avery are his 2nd cousins and he loves them!
After they said goodbye to me at the airport they took Cody to this fun park in Salem. I am so glad that Randy and Diane took pictures to document their week together.

He went to the Portland Zoo with Lucy and Avery!

I think the train ride at the zoo was a highlight of his day!
4th of July parade in Creswell! This was Cody's first parade and he had so much fun!
He got to swim at Grandpa and Grandma's once it warmed up a little bit.

Watering Grandma's plants.
He spent a lot of time outside. The weather was perfect for summertime (expecially compared to Texas) and Grandpa and Grandma have a lot of outside land to run and play! Their home is beautiful!
Katie enjoyed having someone to chase and play with!
Playing in the sprinkler and being eyed by his furry friend! Cody loved his week with Grandpa and Grandma and we knew he was having fun, being spoiled and loved!

Prince Debut #2

Cody, Ty, Charlie and Joy were all in a wedding together. This was Cody and Charlie's 2nd wedding to be in and all the kids did great! Here they are lined up at the rehearsal.
The wedding was at our church in Frisco but Cody and I joined Mary and her kids in a hotel and we played Friday and Saturday! We got 2 suites with a door in the middle and had a lot of room for all of us. We enjoyed swimming in the hotel pool and just hanging out together. Cody adores Mary and asks to see her everyday! I love this picture of them together!
Our little prince!
Cody and Ty...one of Cody's favorite friends. He wants to be where Ty is and do what Ty is doing! They had fun climbing the stairs and running around the church together.
Charlie and Joy were beautiful flower girls!
The kids all know Mrs. Amanda from Sunday School.  She was there consistant teacher for a long time and she wanted them all in her wedding!
Mary and I were so proud at how well the kids did!
All lined up ready to go down the aisle! Mary stayed in the back with them and I was sitting in the aisle seat waiting for them to come.  They had to go up on stage with the bridemaids and groomsmen just until the father of the bride was done giving her away. Then we all quickly left the sanctuary...they had been so good but we didn't want to distrupt the ceremony with 4 silly kids! When Cody and Ty were walking down the aisle Cody stopped when he saw me and handed me his pillow...not sure why he didn't want it but it helped his hands be free so he could cover his ears while the organ played!
What a fun weekend we had spending time with some of our favorite people!
