Playing in Puddles

After pre-school one afternoon Cody found this puddle and very sweetly asked if he could play in it. There was no reason why he couldn't so I said "go for it" and he smile and joy he got was so cute! This sidewalk is at our church and outside Jason's office.  Cody quickly got an audience from  his daddy and the student ministries staff.  He ended up with holes in his socks and a little chilly but had so much fun! We stripped him down and covered him with his nap mat for the ride home! I am pretty sure he will notice every puddle from now on!

Random Cody

Cody playing with his friend David.  He loves his friends and loves when people come to our house!
I recently took Cody to the doctor because his ear was hurting.  This is how he road all the way to and from the doctor. Poor guy!  At least he looked cute in his woody jammies.
Cody made his own train!  He can finally blow his whistle and wanted the basket on the back of his truck to carry his toys.
Cody lines his cars up and then uses his monster trucks to jump over and crash his cars. This particular day he pulled out only his little trucks and lined them up.
I came home from work one day and he had this flower and said "mommy, i got a flower for you".  He and Kaitlyn had been on a walk and he found this flower he wanted to give me.
Our friend Jim came over and helped Jason fix our fence.  Cody enjoyed watching and "helping".
He loves to put on our shoes!

Big Boy Bed

Just before Christmas we converted Cody's crib to a toddler bed.  He pretty much let us know he was ready when he quit wanting to be in his crib and wanted to sleep in the guest room bed.  He has done great in the toddler bed and hasn't once given us a hard time about climbing in and out of it.  In the morning he wakes up and calls for us like he did in his crib but doesn't get out and come to us.  He waits for us to go to him. I love his sweet face when he sleeps. Now getting rid of the paci is going to be heart breaking for him but its time.

He sure is proud of his big boy bed!
He wanted me to take his picture with his sitting on both sides. We tried a couple nights without the bed rail and half his body would be hanging off his bed.  This works great and he can still get in and out by himself but stays in the bed while sleeping.
Woody is his favorite "friend" but he also likes Winnie the Pooh, Jessie and Mickey Mouse to sleep with him.

Happy!

Fun at Northpark

Cody and I met Mary and her kids at Northpark mall a few weeks ago!  We will probably never get a picture with all the kids looking in the same direction but this pic still makes me happy! We were thankful Nattie came too!
